Attorney Suzette Bagneris
Suzette Bagneris earned her legal degree in 1993 from Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. She practiced at several civil litigation firms as an associate and obtained substantial trial experience litigating civil cases throughout the State of Louisiana, including class actions. Suzette started The Bagneris Firm in 2004 with a strong emphasis on representing victims of personal injury who may otherwise be overlooked or under-represented. She follows the mantra of “to whom much is given, much will be required,” which is taken from Luke 12:48, when selecting her cases. For more than two decades now, Suzette has enjoyed a very successful litigation practice, often successfully taking on “Goliath-like” corporations and national defense firms in very complex cases.

Attorney Emile Bagneris
Emile, who is Suzette’s husband, has had a successful litigation career spanning more than 23 years. He earned his law degree from Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, and joined the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office. At the District Attorney’s Office, Emile quickly became a senior prosecutor and earned tremendous trial experience. Subsequently, he joined a civil litigation defense firm where he quickly was honored with partnership. As a civil defense attorney, Emile represented large corporations and insurance companies. He joined The Bagneris Firm in 2016.
Throughout his legal career, Emile has worked primarily on general liability, medical malpractice, product liability, commercial litigation, environmental litigation, professional liability, and auto transportation cases. With more than 70 jury trials and 200 judge trials in Orleans Parish, he is one of the most experienced and trusted attorneys in the region.
Emile has also educated adjusters at large insurance companies on how they can defend against civil claims. This has helped give him a good understanding of how the insurance companies think and act, which can give him an edge in your legal case.
